Festival Roundup – Check out who’s been added to your Favorite Festival


Summer is around the corner and it has been a busy few days with Festival announcements coming in thick and fast. Below is a round up of who have been added to your favorite festival in 2013:

Liverpool Sound City festival


This week, Noah And The Whale were confirmed as co-headliners for the Liverpool Sound City Festival.

Also confirmed were: Everything Everything, Melody’s Echo Chamber, Delphic, Darwin Deez, Dutch Uncles and Savages have all been added to the line-up for the.

Liverpool Sound City will see over 360 artists perform in over 25 venues across three days from May 2-4, 2013.

V Festival 2013


Beyonce and Kings of Leon have been confirmed has headliners for this year’s V festival.

Also added to the line up are Stereophonics, The Script, Emeli Sandé, Calvin Harris, Beady Eye, Jessie J, Two Door Cinema Club, The Vaccines, Basement Jaxx, Olly Murs, Paloma Faith, James, Rita Ora, The Courteeners, Jason Mraz, FUN., Labrinth, Ellie Goulding, Kendrick Lamar, Of Monsters And Men, Maverick Sabre, Travis, DJ Fresh,  Jessie Ware, Maximo Park, Lianne La Havas, Rudimental, James Arthur, Scouting For Girls, Deacon Blue, Little Mix, Ocean Colour Scene, The Fratellis, Gabrielle Aplin and Laura Mvula.

V Festival returns this August over the weekend on the 17th & 18th.

Newcastle Evolution Festival


The Vaccines, Jake Bugg, AlunaGeorge and Paloma Faith have been confirmed to play this year’s Evolution Festival.

The two day event takes place over the May Bank Holiday, from May 26-27 at Newcastle Gateshead Quayside.

Secret Garden Party


Soulwax will headline this summer’s Secret Garden Party.

Also announced in the initial line-up to play the festival are Childhood, Big Youth, Wolf Alice, London Grammar, Public Service Broadcasting, Son Of Dave, Unkle (DJ set) and Embrace (DJ Set.

Secret Garden Party will take place at Mill Hill Field in Abbots Ripton from July 25-28

Field Day 2013


Gabriel Bruce, King Krule and Toy have been added to line-up to Field Day festival in Victoria Park, London.

Metz, Stealing Sheep, Guards, Jagwar Ma and East India Youth have also been added to the line-up

Field Day takes place in London’s Victoria Park on Saturday May 25.

Creamfields Festival


The Prodigy will headline this years’ Creamfields festival. It will be their only UK festival appearance this summer.

Also confirmed for Creamfields are Swedish DJ Avicii, Tiësto and David Guetta – who will headline the North Stage on the Sunday night.

Creamfields takes place in Daresbury, Cheshire over August 23–25

RockNess Festival 2013


Plan B, The Temper Trap and Alabama 3 have been newly announced for the RockNess Festival.

RockNess Festival takes place on the surroundings of Loch Ness, Scotland. 7th – 9th June 2013.

T In The Park


David Guetta, Foals, Phoenix, Kendrick Lamar and Haim are among the latest group of acts confirmed for this summer’s T In The Park.

Dizzee Rascal, Calvin Harris, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Stereophonics have also joined the bill.

It was previously announced that Mumford & Sons, Rihanna and The Killers are to headline the festival.

T In The Park takes place at Balado Park, Kinross-shire between 12-14 July.
