Preview: Leeds Festival – Sunday (Day Three)

The Sunday of Leeds is known as ‘Metal Sunday’ for a reason, and this year the ‘iconic’ heavy headliners are Metallica – the LA metal-heads will top the final day with a set which will be spread across their nine album back catalogue.

Sunday isn’t all about the heavy stuff. Over on the BBC/Radio One Stage, one of the best ‘New Bands’ of 2015 aka Wolf Alice will be bringing their debut album ‘My Love Is Cool’ to the West Yorkshire venue. Expect the tent to be rammed – and its likely to stay rammed for chart favorites Everything Everything who will precede them.

This diverse festival offers something for everyone – and over on the Dance Stage, you’ll see the likes of ‘Boom Clap’ singer Charli XCX and Tourist performing, expect a little glamour to added to the occasion.

Two bands who are worth a mention are Demob Happy and Clean Cut Kid, both will be appearing on the BBC Introducing Stage on Sunday afternoom, and both bands only have a single or two under their belt at the minute, but they’re not destined to stay underground for long. Go check them out before they hit one of the bigger stages next year.
