On Wednesday night Pissed Jeans played the second of their two headline shows at London’s 100 Club.

Over the past 50+ years, the Oxford Street venue as been graced by the presence of plenty of punk bands, and tonight one more was added to the list, with Pissed Jeans who played a frenetic 45 minute set.

The Philadelphia quartet’s brand of ‘noise punk’ layered in distortion, is taylor-made for this venue, and from the opening notes frontman Matt Korvette owned it! From climbing up the stage apparatus to tearing off his T-shirt and vanishing into the sweaty, boozed fueled crowd – he and the rest of Pissed Jeans showed London that Punk’s still alive and well.
