LA based Boy-Gal duo, Powers have hit our radar with their infectious new single ‘Beat of my Drum’.
If you happen to be a fan of the likes of Passion Pit and Empire of the Sun… Powers are a band that is probably worth taking note of.
‘Beat of my Drum’ arrives with much of the same feel good-hooks and lush harmonies as their contemporaries mentioned above, and while the track isn’t going to re-define the indie-pop genre any time soon. It certainly adds to it, and that’s not doing anyone any harm.
